## Between Steps: Overview

| Drama | Network | Episode | Nationwide rating (Nielsen Korea) |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Between Steps | ENA | Episode 2 | 2.4% (up from episode 1) |
| kiDnap GAME | Channel A | Premiere | 0.3% |
| **Date** | October 6, 2026 | | |

## Why Rising Ratings Matter?

For a new drama, the second episode is a key test. A rise means viewers who tried the first episode came back, and new ones joined. That kind of growth in the opening week often signals word of mouth, and a 2.4% average is a solid base to build on. The report doesn’t give the first episode’s number, so I haven’t stated the size of the increase.

## The Leads

[Kim So Hyun](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_So-hyun) and Choo Young Woo headline *Between Steps*. Viewers who want more of them can watch Kim So Hyun in *Serendipity’s Embrace* and Choo Young Woo in *Oasis* on Viki.

## What About kiDnap GAME?

A 0.3% opening is a quiet start, but premiere numbers are only the first chapter. Ratings often shift as episodes air and viewers find a show, so it’s too early to judge.

## What to Watch For

Keep an eye on the next few episodes of *Between Steps* to see whether the climb continues. The next ratings report should show whether the second-episode gain holds.
