A late director’s final love story is already tugging at hearts before it even premieres. New stills from *Between Steps* show Choo Young Woo and Kim So Hyun sharing quiet, intimate moments that suggest their characters’ bond runs far deeper than first glances.

## What The Drama Is About

*Between Steps* is helmed by the late director Ahn Pan Seok, known for hits like *Something in the Rain* and *The Midnight Romance in Hagwon*. The story follows Park Min Jae (Choo Young Woo), a former swimmer who lost his right leg to illness, and Im Yoo Jin (Kim So Hyun), a graduate student rediscovering her direction in life after losing her way.

In one still, the pair sit side-by-side at a bus stop, exchanging warm glances as Im Yoo Jin holds Park Min Jae’s hand with visible excitement. Another image captures a quieter, more charged moment in a dark alleyway, where she grips his sleeve while he watches her steadily, their close proximity hinting at unspoken feelings beginning to surface. The understated intimacy across both scenes signals a slow-burn romance built more on emotional connection than dramatic gestures — a hallmark of director Ahn Pan Seok’s previous acclaimed work.
