Malayalam cinema is having a moment, and **Bethlehem Kudumba Unit** is right at the center of it. Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju’s romantic comedy has crossed the coveted Rs 300 crore mark globally — and it did so faster than any Malayalam film in history.

### A Record-Breaking Run

In just 24 days, BKU has become only the second Malayalam film ever, after *Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra*, to cross Rs 300 crore worldwide. But here’s the real headline: while Lokah took 45 days to hit that milestone, BKU got there in almost half the time. By the end of the day, its worldwide gross stood at approximately Rs 305 crore, edging past Lokah’s final tally of Rs 302.65 crore.
