Nivin Pauly might just be having his best year yet. His latest film, *Bethlehem Kudumba Unit*, co-starring Mamitha Baiju, has wrapped its opening week in Kerala with a number most Malayalam films only dream of — and it’s still climbing.

## Bethlehem Kudumba: The Numbers Don’t Lie

The film crossed a stunning **Rs. 49.75 crore gross** in just 7 days, showing the kind of steady, “superb hold” that box office trackers love to see. No big single-day spike, just consistent, growing numbers day after day — a sign of genuine word-of-mouth, not just opening-day hype.

| Day | Kerala Collection |
| --- | --- |
| Day 1 | Rs. 4.50 crore |
| Day 2 | Rs. 6.25 crore |
| Day 3 | Rs. 7.50 crore |
| Day 4 | Rs. 7.00 crore |
| Day 5 | Rs. 8.00 crore |
| Day 6 | Rs. 7.50 crore |
| Day 7 | Rs. 9.00 crore |
| **Total** | **Rs. 49.75 crore** |

Notice Day 7 outperforming Day 1 by nearly double — that’s the kind of trend that makes trade analysts sit up.

## What’s Next for the Film?

With this momentum, industry estimates suggest another **Rs. 20 crore** this coming weekend, pushing the running total toward **Rs. 70 crore**. If that holds, *Bethlehem Kudumba Unit* is on track to enter the coveted Rs. 100 crore club in Kerala alone — putting it in direct competition with recent [Malayalam cinema](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malayalam_cinema) heavyweights like *Vaazha 2*, *Lokah Chapter One: Chandra*, and *Thudarum*.
