Some films slow down after two weeks. **Bethlehem Kudumba Unit** simply refuses to. The Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju starrer has just pulled off the **biggest third weekend in Kerala box office history**, and it’s still climbing.

The film added **Rs. 18.15 crore** over its third weekend, pushing its 17-day Kerala gross to a massive **Rs. 117.45 crore**. That places it as the **fourth highest-grossing Malayalam film ever** in Kerala, trailing only Vaazha 2, Lokah Chapter One: Chandra, and Thudarum — and it’s already eyeing that third spot.

What makes this run remarkable is its consistency. The movie hasn’t dropped below Rs. 4 crore on a single day of its release so far, a rare feat for [Malayalam cinema](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malayalam_cinema), which typically sees sharper weekday dips.

## What’s Next for the Film

The trajectory is only pointing up. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is expected to overtake Thudarum by the end of the day, setting up a straight shot at the No. 2 spot — and eventually, Vaazha 2’s crown. Trade watchers believe it could redefine benchmarks for future Malayalam releases.

The one wildcard: OTT timing. South Indian films typically head to streaming within four weeks of release. If Bethlehem Kudumba Unit follows that pattern, it may leave some box office potential on the table just as its momentum peaks.
