### What Is *Dutton Ranch* About?

In the new *Yellowstone* spinoff, Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler head to South Texas to fight for their future, only to clash with a rival ranch owner. The show picks up shortly after *Yellowstone* ended, following Beth and Rip in the aftermath of the series finale.

The series serves as both a spinoff and a direct sequel to *Yellowstone* (2018–2024) and is the fifth television series in the *Yellowstone* franchise. [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutton_Ranch)

### Star-Studded Cast

Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser return as Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, joined by two Oscar nominees — Ed Harris and Annette Bening.

Annette Bening plays Beulah Jackson, the formidable head of a rival ranching empire, while Ed Harris plays Everett McKinney. Finn Little is back as Carter, and country singer Morgan Wade has also joined in a recurring role — playing Carol, a bartender who has seen it all in Rio Paloma, Texas.
