The 29-year-old Peruvian left-back Miguel Trauco has abilities to handle both the attacking and defensive duties for his teams. Last three seasons, he played for French Ligue 1 club Saint-Etienne. Last season, he appeared in 21 games for this team, who were relegated after losing the relegation playoffs.

John Brooks (CB)

The 29-year-old German-born US defender John Brooks has left the German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg after serving them for five consecutive seasons. He made 36 appearances last season.

The 23-year-old French centre-back Dan-Axel Zagadou just completed his contract for the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund after his fifth consecutive season for the club. Due to knee surgery and fitness issues last season, Zagadou only managed to play 19 games for the senior BVB side.

Serge Aurier (RB)

The 29-year-old Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier played the last season for the Spanish La Liga club Villarreal, who reached the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League 2021/22 season. He managed to appear in 24 games last season, including 11 times in starting XI. Apart from French Ligue 1 and English Premier League, Aurier has now also experienced the Spanish La Liga.

The football fans are in relief to see the 30-year-old Danish footballer Christian Eriksen’s return on the field, and that too in the strongest fashion. The newly-promoted Premier League team Brentford signed the versatile Danish footballer last January. He was impressive on the field as he scored the only goal and four assists in his 11 appearances for the club. Some top clubs are interested to sign him for the new season.

Jesse Lingard (CM)

The 29-year-old English footballer Jesse Lingard is another versatile footballer who can play a strong role as an attacking midfielder. In our team, Lingard has been selected as the central midfielder who can play the central attacking midfielder role. His long-term relationship with the English Premier League club Manchester United ended after the 2021/22 season. Lingard made 22 appearances for the Red Devils last season.

Isco (LW)

Though it is now tough to imagine the 30-year-old Spanish footballer Isco playing as a left-winger for his clubs, he majorly played in this position for the senior national team (especially late in his career). Isco can strongly operate in many attacking positions, and here we are choosing him as the left-winger.

Isco was one of the successful players for Real Madrid, the Spanish La Liga giants, as the 2021/22 season was his ninth consecutive season for the Whites. Though the team achieved huge success, Isco had weaker experience due to several illnesses. He managed to appear in 17 games in the last season and scored two goals for the club.

Ousmane Dembele (RW)

In the present transfer market, the 25-year-old French winger Ousmane Dembele is one of the players, who are the centre of the news. The last season was his fifth consecutive season for the Spanish La Liga club Barcelona, where he finished as the most assist provider in the La Liga season with 13 assists. While some top clubs are eyeing signing him, Barcelona are still trying to convince him for a new contract.

Paulo Dybala (CF)

In the last few years, Paulo Dybala has disappointed with his declining form. However, the 28-year-old Argentine forward showed some improvement in his game in the last season (2021/22). It was his seventh consecutive season for the Italian Serie A giants Juventus. He finished that season as their leading goal-scorer in both Serie A (10 goals) and complete season (15 goals).

Luis Suarez (CF)

The 35-year-old Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez recently ended his two-year contract with the Spanish La Liga club Atletico Madrid. He was their hero during their La Liga 2020/21 title-winning moment, where he finished as their leading goal-scorer of the season with 21 goals. In the last season, Suarez finished as their joint leading goal-scorer with 13 goals.
