In order to enhance the user experience on WhatsApp for Android, four new features have just been introduced: document captions, the capacity to share up to 100 media files, longer group subjects and descriptions, and avatars. Any users who install the most recent version of WhatsApp can access these features.
In order to give users a better experience when sharing their moments on status, it was announced last week that the application would be introducing new features to status updates for Android and iOS. New additions that are currently accessible to everyone who installs WhatsApp’s most recent version are mentioned in a new changelog that was recently published on the Play Store:
Share up to 100 media
With the ability to share up to 100 videos and photos in a chat, users may now share complete albums with their family members and friends. The beta for the Android 2.23.4.3 release is responsible for the discovery of this feature.
Longer group subjects and descriptions
You can now choose a longer subject and description for your groups in order to describe them more effectively. The WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.3.9 release led to the discovery of this feature.
Create personalized avatars
Making an avatar that can serve as a profile photo and a sticker allows you to express yourself more effectively. Truth be told, this capability was already made available to everyone after installing the WhatsApp for Android 2.22.24.73 update, but WhatsApp is promoting it once more in the official changelog for users who might not be aware of the feature yet.
Document caption
Now that you can attach a caption to documents when sharing them, you have a new way to explain them. This functionality was teased for some beta testers before the release of the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.22.22.7 upgrade, and it is now open to all users.
