Best Assassin’s Creed games to play this month

Assassin’s Creed franchise which debuted in 2007, has several entries which have taken us on a journey from Renaissance Italy to Ancient Greece to the American Revolution.

Over the years, the series has developed tremendously, from sequels that made good on the promise of past entries to entirely new takes on character progression.

So, let’s take a look at some of the amazing entries in the Assassin’s Creed franchise:

The next version of Assassin's Creed confirmed rumoured to release 2024 with the multiple setting

10. Assassin’s Creed Unity

This is was the first Assassin’s Creed game to be exclusively released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (alongside PC of course). It was the graphical powerhouse of its time and came with an enormous boost to the number of NPCs we could see in any game during its time. However, it has a bumpy ride.

The game was infested by bugs, glitches, and an overburdened map-making player’s give-up mid-game. Overall it was a good game if you accept it with all its defects.

9. Assassin’s Creed Rogue

This game debuted the same year as Unity and introduced us to the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac for this pseudo-prequel to Assassin’s Creed 3 and Unity. This game brought to us the ice flows of the North Atlantic and Riverlands of the Hudson Valley, while also keeping the excellent naval combat and swordplay of Black Flag.

It’s a good take on the story and doesn’t deviate much from its main plot of Assassin’s being Goog guys and templars being bad.

8. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations

Assassin’s Creed: Revelations wrapped up Altair Ibn-La-Ahad and Ezio Auditore’s stories, and contained some remarkable additions like the Den Defense mode. This game brought everything one could ask for in the Assassin’s Creed game, from flying down ziplines in Constantinople to hanging out with Leonardo Da Vinci, it was a fascinating adventure.

This game was our chance to say goodbye to the first era of Assassin’s Creed.

7. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood continues the story of Ezio Auditore da Firenze, which established him as a fan-favourite protagonist for the series.

This game was the first in the franchise which brought to us the Multiplayer mechanism, allowing players to step into the shoes of the Templars to see who among their friends truly was the best assassin or hunter.

Now Assassin's Creed Valhalla will release on 10th November 2020__TechnoSports.co.in

6. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The most recent entry into the franchise although this game didn’t bring some major drastic changes to the franchise but is still pretty good.

Combat is much better than before and playing as Vikings sure feels impactful, traditional side quests have been replaced by world events, making exploration and discovery much more organic; and the absurd amount of loot you’d have to organize and sift through was toned down substantially.

The story of AC Valhalla is one of the best blendings of historical fantasy and mythology that the series has ever seen.

5. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate

The meeting takes us to 19th Century Victorian London in the throes of industrialization which is one of the most memorable of the AC games. Sneaking around factories, racing horse-drawn carriages down the street, and even fighting Jack the Ripper, the game feels amazing.

4. Assassin’s Creed II

The sequel to the original Assassin’s Creed game had many things to prove to gamers and also to itself that its formula work. And the game not only did that but it also gave us the defining analogy of a video game sequel fulfilling the promise of its underwhelming original.

The game made assassination missions more dynamic and gave us an unforgettable ending to an entry that proved how incredible Assassin’s Creed could be.

3. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey continued the Origins’ combat style and new-found focus on role-playing and added its extra ingredients to the mix.

The sprawling backdrop of Ancient Greece, aflame with the war between Athens and Sparta, we get an amazing adventure. The game is vibrant with the most stunning vistas we’ve seen in the series, both at land and sea.

2. Assassin’s Creed: Origins

This is the game that changed the entire AC series as we know it, and brought the game from a stealth-focused action-adventure, into a straight-up open-world RPG with a size and scope rivalled only by very few games. But even setting the historical significance of Assassin’s Creed Origins aside, it’s important to note that it’s also just a damn good Assassin’s Creed game.

1. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

This was the game that, for the first time tried something else in the franchise. The major attraction was the protagonist who was a pirate first, and an assassin second – and we had one hell of an adventure because of it.

It introduced a massively entertaining sandbox playground in the Caribbean, featuring a plethora of islands teeming with treasure and activities to embark upon.
