Creator Álex Pina responded with grace: he reflected that Berlin, as a character, has a wonderful ability to pass from one genre to another — from darkness to light, to comedy — and that for a writer, that is wonderful to work with. But he understood that there is a moment when an actor needs to shed that skin and that soul, and he respected the decision without being pushy.
