Although Kerala Blasters showed signs of resurgence in the second half, pressing forward in numbers in pursuit of an equalizer, Bengaluru FC’s defense stood firm, thwarting their advances effectively.

It was in the dying moments of the game that Javi Hernandez made his mark, demonstrating composure and precision to slot the ball past the goalkeeper into the bottom corner, clinching victory for Bengaluru FC and securing three valuable points.

With this upset win, Bengaluru FC climbed to sixth place in the league standings, while Kerala Blasters suffered a setback in their title aspirations, currently occupying fifth place with 29 points from 17 games.
