Benfica are close to completing a number of deals in the transfer market. The club has agreed transfers for Arthur Cabral from Fiorentina, and Anatolij Trubin from Shakhtar Donetsk. Both players are completing their medicals and will soon be announced as new players for the Portuguese club soon.
Cabral will be the replacement for Goncalo Ramos, who left for PSG a few days ago. The Parisians paid €65 million plus €15 million for the young striker, who will complete the move to the Ligue 1 champions this week.
Both players have agreed a five-year contract until 2028, and will sign the deals imminently.
Arthur Cabral and Anatolij Trubin to sign for Benfica soon
The club has maintained their tradition of signing some of the most underrated players across Europe and selling them for a massive profit. And they could continue this with Trubin and Cabral.
Fiorentina will receive €20 million plus €5 million for Arthur Cabral, and will be replacing him with Lucas Beltrán from Argentine club River Plate.
On the other hand, Trubin will be signing for a fee worth €10 million plus €1 million. Shakhtar have also agreed a sell-on clause into the goalkeeper’s contract, which is valued at 40%.
Benfica have also signed Orkun Kokcu from Dutch champions Feyenoord as the replacement for Enzo Fernandez. The Argentine joined Chelsea during the January transfer window for a massive fee. And after carefully scouting for a replacement, Kokcu has been signed by the club.
Angel Di Maria has also been signed on a short-term deal, with the Argentine already impressing in preseason for the club.
