Ben Stokes is shattering cricket conventions. By ditching traditional slip fields for wide, empty spaces, he’s weaponizing psychological warfare against elite batters.

This high-stakes strategy forces opponents to abandon aggression, fueling England’s victory at The Oval. It’s not just about bowling; it’s about disrupting the batter’s mind. Stokes is proving that unconventional field geometry is the future of test-match dominance.
