Belgium and Denmark have qualified for the Round of 16 from Group B in the Euros. The Belgians finished with a flawless record, securing 9 points in their three games in the group.

Lukas Hradecky scored the sixth own goal of the tournament, which is the most of all the editions of the Euros in history. Romelu Lukaku and Kevin De Bruyne then combined in the 81st minute to put the game to bed, winning against Finland 2-0 to sent their opposition packing from the tournament and secure their position as the group winners.

The Red Devils will have to wait for all groups to complete their matches to get to know their first opponents in the knockout stages. The ‘Golden Era’ of the Belgium national team is one of the favorites to go ahead and lift the trophy this year. The fact that their squad is ranked first in the world also goes to show how much talent they have.

Denmark finished second in the group, and made it into the round of 16 on goal difference. They netted four past Russia to qualify by two goals on aggregate. Mikkel Damsgaard, Yussuf Poulsen, Andreas Christensen and Joakim Mæhle scored for the Danes as they beat Russia 4-1.

The Danes head into the knockout stages with a good chance of making it to the next round. They will be facing Wales, in a relatively even contest for a spot in the quarter finals.
