Bayern Munich are in talks with Ajax to potentially sign Ryan Gravenberch in the summer. After talking with the player and his agent regarding personal terms, the German club are now opening talks with Ajax to sign the player.

The opening bid made is for €15 million guaranteed, followed by €10 million in add-ons over several years. However, Ajax want more for the talented midfielder, with the Dutch club previously quoting a price around €30 million. His market value at the time of writing is around €35 million.

The negotiations between the two clubs have just started, and are expected to continue before an agreement is found. Ajax’s recent exit from the Champions League against Benfica is also a factor in the youngster wanting to leave the club.

Ryan Gravenberch deal. Bayern official bid is €15m guaranteed plus add-ons, I'm told. Variables could reach €10m in many years – potential €25m total value. 🚨 #FCBayern

With Ajax, Ryan Gravenberch has won the domestic double twice. The first was in the 18/19 season, and most recently, in 20/21. He is out of a contract with the reigning Eredivisie champions in 2023, and won’t be extending his deal any further. So, Ajax need to decide between accepting a lower amount or losing him for a free transfer later.

The 19-year-old has earned 10 caps for the Netherlands national team, and is among the best young talents in the squad. His arrival in the Bundesliga would provide Bayern Munich another great option in midfield alongside Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka, Jamal Musiala and Marcel Sabitzer.
