Alexandar Pavlovic scored the equaliser for the hosts, in what was only his third goal for the senior team. The midfielder also produced a long-range effort, which ended up in the top corner to level things up at the Allianz Stadium.
Joshua Kimmich came incredibly close to breaking the deadlock, with another curling effort barely scraping past the post. Leverkusen defended very well, not allowing Bayern to take many high quality shots despite having most of the ball.
Now, both teams must gear up for their midweek Champions League fixtures. Leverkusen have a difficult battle against Milan while Bayern face Aston Villa.
