Sunny Deol’s latest partition drama, *Batwara 1947*, has officially stalled. With a disappointing worldwide gross of just Rs 44.25 crore, the film failed to ignite the box office. Despite heavy production backing, weak marketing and tepid reviews sealed its fate. Deol now pivots toward his next high-stakes role as Lord Hanuman in *Ramayana*, aiming to reclaim his legendary cinematic dominance.
