In the competitive realm of mid-range smartphones, two contenders are set to vie for consumer attention: the CMF Phone 1 and the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite. Let’s dissect their specifications and features to see how they stack up against each other.

Design and Build

CMF Phone 1 comes with a replaceable back cover which can be replaced by the user as per the design preference but no dimension or weight is provided. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite has a slim body that measures 162.5 x 75.3 x 8.4mm and weighs in at 186g and also has an IP54 dust and splash resistance for that extra bit of survivability.

Display

Both devices offer a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals on its AMOLED panel. In the display department, the CMF Phone 1 features a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen which holds a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels while the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite arrives with that same 6.7-inch Fluid AMOLED display that houses 1080 x 2412 pixels, and HDR10+ support.

Performance

The CMF Phone 1 is based on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC that came just a few hours before the announcement, while the available RAM depends on the variant: 6 GB or 8 GB, and the storage is only 128 GB. On the other hand, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC with 8GB of RAM and inbuilt storage choices of 128GB and 256GB.

Camera

In the camera department, both phones have impressive cameras. It has a dual rear Camera of 50MP wide and ultrawide lenses with a 16MP front camera. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, on the other hand, also has a 50MP wide and 8MP ultrawide dual rear camera configuration with a 16MP front camera.

Battery and Charging

The CMF Phone 1 is rated with a 33W wired charging support for its 5000mAh battery, providing more than enough juice to last through the day. The Nord CE 4 Lite comes complete with a heftier 5500mAh battery and supports even faster 100W wired charging, capable of topping up the cell entirely in a mere 29 minutes.
