Barcelona youngster Alex Collado will be completing a tranGer to Real Betis in the coming days. The two clubs have fully agreed on the terms of the move, and Barca will have a 30% sell-on clause as part of their arrangement.
Which means that they will receive 30% of any future fee that Real Betis receive for the player. According to reports from Spain, Barcelona will not charge any fee for the move, and it will go ahead for free. Former Barcelona Technical Secretary Ramon Planes has seemingly convinced the youngster to play under Manuel Pellegrini for the coming season, and the reunion will be official soon.
Alex Collado to sign for Real Betis imminently
Collado has been with Barcelona since 2009, but will bring his 14-year spell with the club to an end soon. He spent the last 18 months on loan with Elche, who got relegated. His time with them was plagued by injuries, and he could not really become a regular in the starting line-up in spite of showing flashes of his quality.
The La Masia graduate will be the replacement for Joaquin Sanchez, after the veteran called time on his spell with Real Betis.
The Verdiblancos will also complete the transfer of Hector Bellerin on a permanent deal in the coming days. They have also reached a full agreement with Leeds United for Marc Roca, and will add both new signings to their ranks as part of a busy month.
