Ansu Fati’s future has been up for debate after his father’s verbal attack on Xavi and Barcelona for his son’s treatment. The youngster has found opportunities in the first team hard to come by, with injuries hampering his progress. However, Bori Fati has now revealed that his son will be staying at Barcelona next season to try and get more playing time, after the meeting with Jorge Mendes.

More Barcelona transfer news comes in the form of Yamine Lamal, the club’s youngest debutant, is also in line for a new professional contract. The 15-year-old is expected to sign a new deal when he turns 16, and the terms of the contract are currently being discussed between the two parties. The new deal is expected to run for the next three years.

Moreover, young left-back Alejandro Balde is also in line for a new contract. Discussions are now entering the final stages for his deal, and could be wrapped up very soon. Balde has played frequently in the starting line-up, and has provided five assists in the league. His current deal runs out in 2024, and the new one will keep him at the club for the foreseeable future.
