Pjanic is no longer at Barcelona, having moved to Turkey this summer. The Spanish club have also engaged in a lot of sales this summer with the likes of Jean-Clair Todibo, Konrad de la Fuente, Lionel Messi, Antoine Griezmann, Francisco Trincao and Firpo Junior all leaving the club in the summer transfer window.

Barcelona’s wage bill has been reduced drastically as well, with the current amount of €97 million over €300 million less than their previous wage cap set by La Liga.

The club have suffered a shaky start to the new season, and despite rumours that Ronald Koeman could be sacked soon, Joan Laporta has confirmed that the Dutchman will continue to stay at the club for the remainder of the season since he is a legend of the club from his playing days.
