Barcelona have set their Spotify Camp Nou return date, with the renovations set to be completed later this year. When the work began on 1 June 2023, the plan was for the team to return on 29th November 2024, the 125th anniversary of the club. But now, it has been pushed back as the club doesn’t want to hurry the work.
The men’s first team will instead wait for two more weeks, and are expected to play their first game back home around 15 December. They have told LaLiga to schedule a home game around that time to facilitate their return as well.

The Culers have been playing at the Montjuic this season, and while it has been a good host to them, it doesn’t provide a similar atmosphere to the Camp Nou. With half the capacity, Barcelona are also losing important revenue that they could reinvest in the club.
The first team will have to play the initial half of the new season at Montjuic before they can return to Spotify Camp Nou. This has posed a dilemma for the club in terms of ticket and season pass prices, as the charges will likely be higher when the team returns to their home ground.
