Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia are confirmed signings on free transfers and Barca is currently looking to sign their third free agent Memphis Depay.

Antoine Griezmann, Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho are reportedly the first one’s to leave as they take out a major percentage on the wage bill.

In addition to that previous President of the club, Josep Maria Bartomeu’s reckless decisions are what brought Barca in this position in the first place.

For example, the signing of Miralem Pjanic in exchange for Arthur Melo did not make any tactical or financial sense.

However, newly elected President Joan Laporta has stated he will make amends to repair the situation.

Although even the 18 players from the squad have been transfer listed only 5 players have been declared untouchable. The players falling into this category are Lionel Messi, Frankie De Jong, Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo and Pedri.

Further on, President Laporta will be sitting with the likes of Clement Lenglet, Sergio Roberto, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba to accept a lower wage and extend their contracts with the club in order to achieve financial equilibrium.
