Barcelona faces a bizarre €602 fine from the RFEF for tapping up Atlético Madrid’s Julián Álvarez. The investigation revealed sporting director Deco held unauthorized talks before sending official notice. While the sum is pocket change for a giant like Barça, it highlights a major regulatory breach. Atlético’s complaint confirms the club broke transfer rules, though no further sporting consequences were issued.
