Ajax’s Noussair Mazraoui is one of the free agents on the radar of Barcelona this summer. The right-back is out of a contract at the end of the season, and has made his feelings about his future quite clear.
He will not be renewing with Ajax, and wants a brand new challenge to further his career. And it seems like that may lie at Camp Nou, with Barcelona.
Noussair Mazraoui receives formal proposal from Barcelona
Barcelona have made a formal bid for the Moroccan to have him join as a free agent in the summer. The player has been offered a €5 million per season salary by the Spanish giants, and his final answer is yet to be received.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich have also been made aware of Barcelona’s move. The German club are also interested in Noussair Mazraoui, and might launch a bid for him soon.
The ball finally lies in Mazraoui’s court. He has the option to join Barcelona, like former Ajax right-back Sergino Dest, or go the other way, and join Bayern Munich, the option that Dest denied. In either case, he will be joining one of the biggest clubs in Europe, which can compete for the Champions League every season.
As a result, his future is his to decide, with two of the biggest clubs ready to sign him once he makes his decision.
