Barca’s legendary midfielder Xavi Hernandez has taken his pledge to help his country to fight against the deadly Coronavirus. After Pep, Messi, Ronaldo and a lot of football stars, Barcelona’s ex-captain Xavi has helped its country to fight this pandemic situation.
In Europe, Coronavirus has taken the worst ever situation, taking thousands of lives already, after Italy, Spain is the worst affected country. In this worse situation, Xavi and his wife Nuria Cunillera have donated €1 million to the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona to help in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
“Nuria and I support the fight against coronavirus at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. Thanks to all the contributions that have been received, the hospital is acquiring equipment for professionals and patients.”
This is a great gesture from the football star for his country, in this kind of situation we all need to cooperate, stay at our homes and stop Coronavirus from spreading.
