In the first half of the third Day, 2nd Test belonged to India but Bangladesh had a strong comeback in the second half. Litton Das, led the batting with Taskin Ahmed and Nurul Hasan, giving India a target of 145. The visitor’s top order collapsed in just 45 runs as KL Rahul, Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Virat Kohli got dismissed scoring single digits. India’s top order was blown away while they were chasing 145 runs. Virat had got dismissed at 1, Chteshwar Pujara at 12, Shubman Gill at 7, and KL Rahul at just 2. Mehidy Hasan and Hasan Miraz picked up three wickets at the end of the day. India finished at 45/4 in 23 overs. The next day, India needs to score 100 runs having six wickets in hand. Bangladesh mustered 113/6 in the second innings. The hosts scored 118 runs in the final wickets all because of Liton Das who individually amassed 73 runs. They made 231 runs in 70.2 overs. Litton Das had a 46-run partnership with Narul Hasan and 60 run partnership with Taskin Ahmed. On Day 4, Bangladesh will try for to clinch their first-ever Test victory against India in Test cricket. They are away from six wickets from making history and keeping the hopes for the World Test championship final. Right now. Axar and Jayadev are at the crease but there are high expectations from Rishabh Pant who’s in fabulous form. The victory is equally significant for the visitors as it will get them to the finale of WTC. Axar Patel, who’s on the crease is playing quite aggressively with a score of an unbeaten 26. The game will be a thrill for the viewers.
