Bambai Meri Jaan is a gripping gangster thriller, it is directed by Shujaat Saudagar, who is best known for directing the 2021 film Dongri to Dubai while its story is written by Hussain Zaidi. The series was written by Hussain Dalal and Abbas Dalal. It was produced jointly by Ritesh Sidhwani, Kassim Jagmagia, and Bollywood actor-cum-director-cum-producer Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Media and Entertainment.
The series tells us a story of Mumbai city’s Post-Independence scenario where streets used to be riddled with crime and focused on an upright cop who risks everything to keep Bombay streets clean and prevent the emergence of organized crime.

On Monday, the trailer of the new series was released. The trailer of the series has taken all the audiences back to the city of Bombay in the 1960s. It introduces a word of gang wars, guns, and deceit, along it also simultaneously shows us the relationship between a responsible police officer who is a father and his son who is a gangster.
Kay Kay Menon plays the role of the honest police officer named Ismail Kadri who has realized that his son Dara Kadri (Avinash Tiwary), has chosen the path of crime. “Seher saaf karte karte mera ghar ganda ho gaya,” says the cop. It shows that the police officer is cleaning the city from crimes but his house is only not clean from crimes. The series then starts to take a turn, where the years unfold ahead, by showing how his son has transformed into a powerful gangster.

The series Bambai Meri Jaan stars Kay Kay Menon in the lead role. It also stars Kritika Kamra who played a crucial role in Amazon Prime’s political thriller web -show Tandav, and will also appear in Bambai Meri Jaan. The actress was last seen in Zee5’s comedy-drama series Kaun Banegi Shikarwati alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Lara Dutta, Soha Ali Khan, and Anya Singh.
