Shah Rukh Khan delighted fans with the news of the “Baazigar” re-release, reminiscing, “Let’s revisit the magic that unfolded on the silver screen once again.”
The iconic film “Baazigar,” starring SRK, Kajol, and Shilpa Shetty, is gearing up for a re-release in theaters. The romantic thriller was directed by Abbas-Mustan.
The iconic Bollywood film “Baazigar” starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, and Shilpa Shetty is all set to dazzle the theaters once again with its re-release!
“Take a trip down memory lane when cinematic magic enchanted audiences! Join us at our Retro Film Festival to experience the iconic Bollywood classic – Baazigar. As one who was part of creating this enchantment, I’m excited to embark on this nostalgic journey with you. Let’s rejoice in the timeless charm of Bollywood together,” Shah Rukh shared in his Instagram announcement.
Following his announcement, fans shared their excitement. One fan expressed, “FAVOURITE CHILDHOOD MOVIE,” while another stated, “All-time favorite SRK.”
Kajol and Shilpa Shetty also took to social media to share the news. Shilpa wrote, “So proud to be part of these ‘Iconic Retro’ films, with Baazigar being my debut…Save the dates: 22/03/24 | 23/03/24 | 25/03/24 | 26/03/24..Join us for an unforgettable cinematic experience. Be there to witness the magic unfold!…”
On November 12, 1993, the romantic thriller was released, showcasing SRK in an anti-hero role. This thriller marked one of Kajol’s early successes and became a blockbuster hit.
Directed by the renowned duo Abbas-Mustan, the film is remembered for its iconic dialogues and memorable songs.
One of SRK’s famous dialogues from the movie, “Kabhi Kabhi Kabhi kabhi jeetne ke liye kuch haarna bhi padta hai … aur haar kar jeetne waale ko baazigaar kehte hai (Sometimes to win you must lose something… and the one who wins from a losing position is called a gambler),” remains deeply ingrained in the hearts of his fans.
Akshay Kumar’s Khiladi is also set to re-release in the theatre in the Retro Film festival along with Bazigaar, Main Khiladi Tu Anaari.
