The freshly released stills capture the **second encounter** between our two leads — and the universe has a truly terrible (read: perfect) sense of humor. Cha Se Gye walks into the audition venue, spots Shin Seo Ri, and his eyes go wide with shock in the most hilariously expressive way possible. Whatever their first encounter was, it clearly left a lasting impression on both of them. The tension, the chaos, the chemistry — it’s all there in a single glance.

### Why This Concept Is Pure K-Drama Gold

The premise of *My Royal Nemesis* is genuinely one of the most creative setups in recent K-drama memory. A modern-day struggling actress suddenly channelling the spirit of a notorious [Joseon era](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseon) villainess — clashing head-on with a cold-blooded chaebol heir who is himself practically a villain of the modern age. It’s two forces of chaos colliding, wrapped in a romantic comedy bow.
