## Part of a Bigger Theatrical Moment

The re-release lands amid a strong resurgence for theatrical cinema, with **[Spider-Man: Brand New Day](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spider-Man:_Brand_New_Day)** having crossed $2.2 billion worldwide as 2026’s highest-grossing film. Marvel appears to be testing whether Endgame’s nostalgic pull can recreate similar box office energy ahead of Doomsday’s release.
