Steve Rogers finally slow-dances with Peggy Carter, and then someone knocks. That’s the new ending fans are buzzing about, and it might be the missing link to *Avengers: Doomsday*.

### Avengers Endgame Encore: The Leaks

| Scene | What’s Reported |
| --- | --- |
| **New ending** | Loki knocks on Steve and Peggy’s door after their dance |
| **Loki’s mission** | He appears to be recruiting Captain America for the coming multiverse fight |
| **TVA scene** | Mobius, Casey and Ouroboros watch incursions destroy thousands of universes, including the Fox X-Men world |
| **Doom meets Hulk** | Scooper accounts claim it’s their first on-screen meeting (unconfirmed) |
| **In theaters** | Friday, September 25 |

### Why Loki’s Cameo Matters

Some scoopers go further. One report claims Loki learned Steve’s timeline would be pruned by the TVA and moved his family to a reality where they don’t exist, and that this may have caused the accident that killed Doctor Doom’s family. If true, the hero’s happy ending is the villain’s origin story. That’s rumor territory, so keep some salt handy.

The same report suggests Cap, Peggy and their son have been hiding on Earth-828, home of the Fantastic Four and Doom. It would also explain why Chris Evans is popping up in *Doomsday* at all. ### A Bigger Cast Than Announced?

Leak coverage says these scenes hint at more actors than the announced list, including Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Mark Ruffalo and Ke Huy Quan. Marvel is reportedly pulling clips down, so treat all of this as unofficial until you’ve seen it yourself.
