Atlas Fallen’s first Gameplay trailer is here!

The first gameplay for Focus Home and Deck13’s upcoming action title Atlas Fallen was revealed recently, and the wait was long. This is all very well and good, but the accompanying gameplay reveal trailer does not follow the same logic. The trailer depicts a vast but EMPTY world. There is nothing to be seen outside of the monsters that our character is fighting. There were no other enemies, buildings, landmarks, or anything else. While the world is vast, it appears to be empty and void.

The actual gameplay shown is another red flag when it comes to gameplay. This is the first time we’ve seen gameplay for a game that will be released in two months. We get a total of 20 seconds of footage in this video, which shows almost nothing.

Take on a heroic journey through a variety of breathtaking environments, swiftly gliding through the desert landscapes of a vast sand-covered world. Explore ancient ruins and unearth the mysteries and secrets of a fallen society. Fight a corrupt god and extraordinary beasts thanks to the divine power of your shape-shifting weapon. Unlock powerful skills and abilities to build a unique move set and rise as the champion who will liberate the people of Atlas.

Below is the Atlas Fallen Gameplay trailer

Now, Deck13 has received positive feedback from both Surge and Surge 2, and Atlas Fallen has been a highly anticipated game with a high wishlist on Steam. Outside of these lackluster 20 seconds, we haven’t seen anything to get us excited about the game.

I’m hoping for more because I’m eager to play it. Unfortunately, as the release date approaches, the excitement and curiosity are giving way to apprehension.

Atlas Fallen will release on May 16 on PS5, Series S/X, and PC with pre-orders available now.
