Launched last month at CES 2023, ASUS’s flexible ROG Flow Z13 is going on sale in China as ROG Magic X 2-in-1 laptop or a 13-inch tablet that can also be used as a gaming laptop.

The new ROG Flow Z13 (2023), as we know, will be available with a 14-core Core i9-13900H processor which is quite powerful, thanks to a boost clock speed of up to 5.4 GHz. This is complemented with up to NVIDIA’s latest RTX 4060 laptop GPU and will be available with 35 W – 115 W TGPs at launch.
The best variant is this RTX 4060’s powered one, boasting 8 GB of GDDR6 VRAM and 3,072 unified pipelines and is based on the AD107 GPU. The new ROG Flow Z13 will also include up to 16 GB of DDR5-5200 RAM and up to 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage.
ASUS has also added a 56 Wh battery, a ROG XG Mobile interface for connecting an external GPU, and Thunderbolt 4. In terms of display, you have a 13.4-inch ROG Nebula display, which operates at 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600) with a refresh rate of 165 Hz and response times of 3 ms only.
The ROG Flow Z13 (2023) has a 3.5 mm jack as well as a USB 3.0 Type-A connection, unlike the Surface Pro 9. Both the detachable keyboard and ASUS Pen2.0 stylus is included in the box of this tablet/gaming laptop.
China Launch Price
In China, the notebook has three variants: starts with optional RTX 2050, RTX 4050 and highest RTX 4060 powered SKU.
The prices of ROG Flow Z13 or ROG Magic X in China are:
- i9-13900H + RTX 2050: 10999 yuan or Rs.1,32,206
- i9-13900H + RTX 4050: 12599 yuan or Rs.1,51,439
- i9-13900H + RTX 4060: 13499 yuan or Rs.1,62,256
This pricing is inline to its predecessor and its good to see ASUS offering a dicrete GPU in all of its variants, also the new RTX 40-series will be a huge improvement. Gamers will love using the new gaming tablet which is packed with enough horsepower for 2023 gaming and beyond.
