ASUS Zenfone 8 price revealed ahead May 12 launch

ASUS Zenfone 8 and Zenfone 8 Flip will launch tomorrow globally which is on May 12. The company has not officially confirmed the names of the devices but several reports and leaks suggest that there will be two devices in the series as of now, among which one will retain the previous generation’s flip camera design. As of now, we are pretty much sure of all the specifications and features of the smartphones and even we have seen the official renders of the smartphone as well. The only thing which was remaining was to know about the pricing of the smartphones. But now the pricing of the ASUS Zenfone 8 has already been leaked ahead of the launch.

The prices has been listed by 91mobiles. The pricing of the ASUS Zenfone 8 goes like,
•8+128GB at €700 (INR 62,500) ~$850
•8+256GB at €750 (INR 67,000)~ $911
•16+256GB at €800 (INR 71,500)~ $972

The full phone specifications of the smartphone has also been leaked ahead of the launch. As per the tipster the codename for the smartphone ASUS Zenfone 8 is ‘forya’.

  • Display: It will have a 5.9-inch Full HD+ Samsung E4 AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate. The display will be protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus screen featuring an under-display fingerprint scanner.
  • Rear camera: It seems to have a triple rear camera setup featuring a 64MP IMX686 primary sensor, a 12MP wide-angle, and a macro lens. EIS on both cameras, 8K and 4K slow-mo at 120fps.- Advertisement –
  • Front camera: It will have a EIS enabled 12MP sensor at the front.
  • Processor: As we all know the series will come with the top-of-the-line Snapdragon 888 SoC.
  • Storage: It will come with upto 16GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage- Advertisement –
  • UI: ZenUI 8 on Android 11
  • Battery: 4000mah
  • Fast Charging: 30W- Advertisement –
  • Dimensions: 148 x 68.5 x 8.9mm
  • Weight: 169g
  • Others: 3 mics, OZO audio, Hi-Fi audio playback via 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, dual speakers 5G, BT 5.2, Wifi 6, FM, linear vibration motor.
