The next-gen ASUS gaming laptops have been leaked already including ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX551QS laptop with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS and now its time for the budget ASUS TUF gaming laptop with the upcoming Ryzen 7 5800H.
We have already spotted the 8-core Ryzen 7 5800H in Geekbench, and now it has been spotted powering one of the most demanding laptop successors of 2020. Yes, ASUS TUF gaming laptops with Ryzen 4000H processors were a huge hit, and this is why ASUS wants to continue its momentum of providing the best to gamers with their strong partnership with the Red team.
AMD is gearing up to launch many new APUs in 2021, and ASUS will proudly embrace them to be once again the first in the market with such a wide portfolio. Coming to the leak from @momomo_us, we see the upcoming TUF Gaming A17 laptop feature a 17.3-inch FHD IPS display with a 144Hz refresh rate, no change in this segment.
It is expected to house the powerful 8 core, 16 threaded Ryzen 7 5800H that is now known to come with a 3.2GHz base frequency. The APU comes paired with a GeForce RTX 3070-Max Q, so no limitation to RTX 3060 this time. It retains 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, and a huge 90WHr battery.
Also, there’s Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; although versions are not confirmed, I hope ASUS uses Wi-Fi 6 this time. For ports we have 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 3 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A and 1 x 3.5mm audio combo jack. Seeing the listing image, I strongly feel there will hardly be any to no changes on the design front this time.
