ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 gaming laptop with Ryzen 7 4800HS & RTX GPUs launched

It was coming and now the much-hyped Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 featuring the Ryzen 4000H gaming processors are here. Already the Asus TUF Gaming laptops have been launched and now the new 14-inch gaming laptop makes its way to the market.

Last year Asus launched the ROG Zephyrus G14 with Ryzen 7 3750H and now the OEM has launched the laptop with the custom 35 W Ryzen 9 4900HS. The CPU is expected to outperform a 45 W Intel Core i9-9880H and even the unlocked Core i9-9980HK.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 with Ryzen 9 4900HS and RTX 2060 Max-Q now available at $1450

The Asus Zephyrus G14 will be the first gaming laptop to ship with the anticipated Ryzen 9 4900HS APU. Also, the laptop features a 1080p display packed in a narrow-bezel 14-inch form factor along with a Ryzen 9 CPU and a GeForce RTX 2060 Max-Q GPU.

The GA401IV configuration of the laptop will feature 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD. Best Buy has made landing pages for the Asus Zephyrus G14 with a $1450 launch price. While most of the mid-range 15.6-inch gaming laptops with RTX 2060 graphics are retailing for about $1100, the price of this new laptop is quite just.

It features really thin bezels, creating an 85% screen-to-body ratio that makes these screens feel larger. The integrated Radeon Vega graphics in the Ryzen CPU helps the NVIDIA GPU work with AMD FreeSync display. The Zephyrus G14 is just 17.9 millimetres thick and weighs just 3.5 pounds i.e. 1.6Kg only, just a bit heavier than standard ultra-portable notebooks.

The Zephyrus G14 also feature Dolby Atmos technology and wireless networking options with Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) connectivity, also known as 802.11ax. This is the first-ever ROG laptop to feature an ErgoLift hinge that tilts the keyboard at a more comfortable angle.

The ASUS’ AniME LED Matrix featured on the back of the laptop is a set of programmable 1,215 mini LEDs on the cover which can display whatever pixelated image or text you’d like to and can show animated GIFs as well. Overall at this price range, this powerful laptop is a treat for gamers, you can buy the laptop from Best Buy from here.
