ASUS ROG Phone 6D series is scheduled to launch on September 19th, 2022. According to a new report, the series will include two models, such as the Asus ROG Phone 6D and the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. Ahead of its launch, a tipster has reportedly shared purported renders of the upcoming series.
The ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate will have one major difference from the normal variants when they are actually announced, according to precedent and reports – they’ll use Dimensity chipsets instead of the Snapdragon chips in the normal ROG Phone 6. ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will also have an unprecedented cooling system, which “allows airflow unlike any ROG Phone before”.
Asus ROG 6D and 6D Ultimate Specifications
From the images shared, it looks like the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will feature a design similar to the ROG Phone 6 Pro, which was launched globally alongside the vanilla ROG Phone 6 in July. It will feature 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 165Hz refresh rate, 2-inch secondary rear display. The gaming-phone will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, unlike the ROG Phone 6 and Phone 6 Pro, which features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
It features a triple camera setup on the back, along with an RGB Asus ROG logo and ROG branding. Over on the front, it has an unobstructed display with slim bezels on the top and bottom. The button layout also remains unchanged, with the ROG Phone 6D sporting a volume rocker, a power button with a teal accent, and shoulder triggers on the right edge.
The Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate’s chipset is said to feature an ARM Cortex-X2 core with a clock speed of 3.2GHz, along with support for LPDDR5X RAM. The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate will feature a new advanced cooling system that allows airflow unlike any ROG Phone before. It is said to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 65W wired fast charging support.
Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate price in India is expected to be Rs. 63,990. This is 18 GB RAM / 512 GB internal storage base variant of Asus ROG Phone 6D Ultimate which is expected to available in Black, Gold color.
