Asus ROG Phone 5 was launched in India on March 10 and the phone was up for pre-orders. The company claimed that the sale will start on April 15 at 12PM in India. Asus ROG Phone 5 will be available in storage options and the price of both smartphones are as follows.

- 12GB & 256GB = Rs.57,999
Asus ROG Phone 5 is the vanilla version in the series, where we get a Pro model and an Ultimate version with a secondary display at the back. This secondary display is not available in Asus ROG Phone 5.
ASUS ROG Phone 5 specifications
ASUS ROG Phone 5 flaunts a 6.78-inch AMOLED type screen. It will also have a high refresh rate of 144Hz. It has a high touch sampling rate of 300Hz and has HDR10+ support. The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC and is paired with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus.
Talking to the optics, the ROG Phone 5 features a triple camera setup at the rear side. This includes a 64 MP Primary Camera along with a 13 MP Ultra-wide Angle Camera and a 5 MP macro sensor. On the front side, you will spot a 24MP snapper. The device also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It draws energy from a powerhouse 6,000mAh battery and is paired with a 65W fast-charging support.
