ASUS ROG NUC 2025 to Feature Intel Core Ultra, RTX 50 GPUs

ASUS has revealed that their new ROG NUC gaming PC will run on Intel’s Arrow Lake CPUs and NVIDIA’s “RTX 50” Blackwell graphics cards. The next generation of ASUS ROG NUC is due to launch soon, with the Rodent now sporting Intel’s next-generation “Arrow Lake-H” CPU and of course the latest generation of NVIDIA discrete graphics cards. While it might be referred to as the “15th generation” of the NUC series, the exact naming convention is still unclear.

Tipster 孤城Hardware just leaked some images on Weibo, offering a glimpse of the ROG NUC 2025 but with some design changes compared to the previous version. Another notable difference is that the new model seems to add an extra fan on top compared to the 2024 model. However, the overall look of the system seems similar to its predecessor. The main change will be in the internals, with the ROG NUC 2025 expected to feature Intel’s Core Ultra 200H series processors.

The flagship variant is speculated to be powered by the Core Ultra 9 285H, replacing the previous Core Ultra 9 185H from the Meteor Lake generation. The GPU will also be upgraded to one of NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series, likely the RTX 5060 or RTX 5070, replacing the RTX 4060 and 4070 used in the previous model. The ports will include 2x USB Type-A, 1x USB Type-C, an audio jack, and a power button on the front of the new ROG NUC 2025. Notably, the card reader seen on the 2024 will not be carried over in the new edition.

For such compact high-end solutions like ROG NUC, you would already expect it to be pricey, though. The previous 2024 model we saw was a Core Ultra 9 185H, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and RTX 4070 coming in at roughly $2000 in China. With the RTX 50 series GPUs being more capable, expect the 2025 edition to be more expensive. Official release dates and availability are still unclear, but more information may come during CES 2025.
