A Best Buy listing that has since been removed revealed the cost of the ASUS ROG Ally. The Best Buy listing, which was first spotted by IGN, confirmed that the top-tier model of the handheld console with the AMD Z1 Extreme processor would cost $699 (roughly Rs 57,150).

On May 11, ASUS has already announced that it will globally introduce its first handheld gaming console. The company has not provided any information, but a recent leak provided all specifications, leaving no room for speculation.

The price of the most expensive ASUS ROG Ally model with an AMD Z1 Extreme SoC was spotted by IGN earlier. Although the listing has been removed from the e-commerce website, the publication was able to screencapture the listing for public viewing.

The top-end model of ASUS ROG Ally will cost $699, which is equivalent to about Rs 57,150.

It is reasonable to predict that the ASUS ROG Ally will cost around Rs. 69,999 in India. The standard model, on the other hand, is anticipated to cost $599 or $549 (roughly Rs. 49,000 or Rs. 45,000). The 7-inch ROG Ally display screen will reportedly have a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 500nits of maximum brightness.

The Taiwanese company’s first handheld gaming console will be available in two models, each powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 or Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor. The ASUS ROG Ally will start up in Windows 11 right out of the box, making it compatible with Epic Games, Steam, EA apps, and Xbox Game Pass. Additionally, Dolby Atmos audio will be supported for better sound quality.

The leak provides additional confirmation that the gaming console has 512GB of SSD storage and 16GB of DDR5 RAM. The console will have a specific microSD card slot to increase storage capacity. We also know that the device will support 65W fast charging and have a USB Type-C port for quick charging.

A side-mounted fingerprint scanner and power button are also rumoured to be included on the console. According to reports, ASUS is developing a number of console accessories, including the ASUS ROG Raikiri Pro Controller, ASUS ROG Cetra Earbuds (TWS), and a Travel Case.
