Despite only showcasing its TUF Gaming custom models for the AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX & 7900 XT graphics cards, ASUS has been preparing ROG STRIX GPUs, according to an ECC filing. We get to see a variety of bespoke ASUS models, including ROG STRIX, TUF Gaming, and even a reference model, in a filing at ECC that momomo_us (via Videocardz) found.
Once more, AIBs will sell the customized model straight to customers rather than AMD being the only vendor authorized to sell it. For each custom model, ASUS offers at least four variations in addition to the base design.
The TUF Gaming & ROG STRIX variation, which adheres to the reference specifications, is the first ASUS product. The Advanced and OC varieties, which have slightly higher clocks and TGPs, are next, while the TOP model, as its name implies, has the best OC and power limits. ASUS is currently developing a total of 8 AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 10 Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics cards. Additionally, ASUS’ Radeon RX 7900 XT reference model will be offered in both regular and overclocked versions.
The Company has already unveiled its AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT TUF Gaming models.
In contrast to the AMD reference models, which have a 2-slot architecture and call for dual 8-pin connectors, the ASUS TUF Gaming variants have a triple 8-pin connector arrangement and occupy 3.68 slots. Compared to the 4090 TUF Gaming, the ASUS TUF Gaming OC graphics card is also larger.
By the middle of December, custom designs from AMD and its partners ASRock, ASUS, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX, and Yeston will be ready for sale.
