Burnley have confirmed the signing of Aaron Ramsey from Aston Villa, with the youngster signing a five-year contract. The 20-year-old will feature for the newly promoted side under Vincent Kompany, on the back of an impressive season in the Championship.
The midfielder spent the last 12 years at Villa Park and became the 11th new signing for the club this summer. He played at the U16-U20 level for the Three Lions and was part of the U19s squad that lifted the UEFA European Championship last year.

“I’m absolutely buzzing. I have been waiting to be a Burnley player for a while now and I’m really happy it’s all officially done now. I can’t wait to get started.
“I can’t wipe my smile off my face. When you come to a new club you want the lads to welcome you in and everyone here has done that straight away. It’s been really easy to settle, everyone has been amazing,” Aaron Ramsey told Burnley’s official website.
Burnley have paid a fee worth £12 million to sign the youngster, who spent last season on loan with Norwich City and Middlesbrough in the Championship.
After signing Ramsey, Burnley are also in talks with newly promoted club Sheffield United for the transfer of Sander Berge. A deal for the defender has not been completed yet, but could be wrapped up soon.
