The Belgian is only 22 and could develop quickly with exposure to Champions League football in the new season. He becomes the latest to join the Clarets as part of their ambitious summer transfer strategy.

Aston Villa have also signed Ian Maatsen, Cameron Archer, Ross Barkley and Lewis Dobbin alongside Amadou Onana to build a strong squad for their upcoming season. Onana’s squad number is yet to be announced, and is expected to be revealed as the season opener comes closer.
