## What’s the Story About?

Forget the Renaissance — this series dives into **Nero’s Rome**. Set between 54–68 AD, the plot follows a new assassin uncovering a conspiracy that runs from the imperial court straight into Rome’s criminal underbelly. Seneca the Younger and Emperor Nero are central figures, making this a politically charged thriller steeped in history.

Fans of the [Assassin’s Creed franchise](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed) will recognise the eternal war between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order — that shadow conflict is very much alive here, just transplanted to ancient streets.

Importantly, **no existing game characters** will appear. This is a fresh story.
