The world of Jump Comics is about to get a lot more chaotic on our screens. Netflix has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated **Kill Blue** anime series will begin its global simulcast in select regions starting **April 2026**. Based on the hit manga by Tadahiro Fujimaki (the genius behind *Kuroko’s Basketball*), this series promises a unique blend of high-octane action and awkward middle-school comedy.

## The Premise: An Assassin’s Second Chance at Puberty

The story follows Juzo Ogami, a legendary middle-aged hitman who is essentially the “John Wick” of his world. However, after being stung by a mysterious genetically modified wasp, he is physically transformed back into a 13-year-old boy.

To find a cure, Juzo must return to the one place more terrifying than any hitman’s hideout: **middle school**. Watching a professional killer navigate homework, puberty, and gym class while fending off rival assassins is the “fish-out-of-water” dynamic that has made the source material a fan favorite.

## Why “Kill Blue” is a Must-Watch on Netflix

Netflix’s commitment to high-quality anime continues to grow, and *Kill Blue* fits perfectly into their 2026 lineup. At [TechnoSports](https://technosports.co.in/), we’ve observed that hybrid “Action-Comedy” series often become the biggest breakout hits because they appeal to both hardcore battle-shonen fans and casual viewers.

The animation is expected to capture Fujimaki’s sharp art style, ensuring that the fight scenes are as fluid as the comedic timing is crisp. If you’re a fan of *Spy x Family* or *Sakamoto Days*, this de-aged assassin story should be at the very top of your watchlist.
