ASRock has revealed its new Mars Mini-PC series and it has the AMD Ryzen 4000U Renoir APUs which is designed in a small form. This machine comes within a super-compact case, which is compatible with the general office, gaming, and home theatre.
The most attractive feature of the ASRock Mars 4000U Mini-PC is that it features AMD’s Ryzen 4000U ‘Renoir’ APUs. These APUs are developed for the mobility segment, but ASRock is going to install them in PC with its new compact Mini PC series. This PC has eight cores and sixteen thread Ryzen 4000U APUs. The list is given below:
- AMD Ryzen 7 4800U (8C 16T, Turbo 4.2 GHz)
- AMD Ryzen 7 4700U (8C 8T, Turbo 4.1 GHz)
- AMD Ryzen 5 4600U (6C 12T, Turbo 4.0 GHz)
- AMD Ryzen 5 4500U (6C 6T, Turbo 4.0 GHz)
- AMD Ryzen 3 4300U (4C 4T, Turbo 3.7 GHz)
Furthermore, the Mars 4000U Mini PC has a dual-channel DDR4 RAM slot with up to 3200 MHz speed and capacity up to 64 GB. This machine features a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD along with a SATA hard drive of 2.5 inches.

The framework is of 0.7-litre design with 26mm of height. On the front, you will be able to see two USB 3.2 Gen 1, two USB 2.0, and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-C) port. Whereas, on the back, there are two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one HDMI and VGA display output. For microphone and audio out, it features Realtek ALC233-VB2 and an RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet for LAN port. This Mini PC has an M.2 slot for WiFi Bluetooth which supports Intel AX200 WiFi 6.
An active cooling solution is provided for this CPU. In the CPU there is installed a single fan to blow the air through an aluminium fin based heatsink which carries out the air through the exhaust vents. The company still hasn’t announced the pricing and availability of ASRock’s Mars 4000U Mini-PC.
