ASRock becomes the first company to announce its implementation for the new AMD Ryzen Embedded V2000 processor with the Zen 2 cores. Currently, the fanless mini PCs that are powered by 10W 6-core and 8-core models come under the offering.
The new fanless PCs are coming under the iBOX lineup and equipped with the heatsink fins on the side panels and on top of the barebone chassis. The Ryzen Embedded V2516 6-core is powring to the iBOX-V2000V model, whereas the iBOX V2000M is powering by V2718 8-core.
There is only the chassis along with the motherboard and processor in the PC. The users have to add RAM separately for up to 64GB DDR4-3200. And for storage, there is an M.2 key M PCLe Gen 3 X4 and a SATA III port. In addition, Radeon Vega GPUs are assigned to support up to 4x 4K displays.
In the case of network connectivity, the motherboard comes with 1Gbps and 2.5Gbps NICs. Along with that, the consumers also have options to attach wireless modules through the M.2 Key E slot. A variety of ports are available to access in these products such as 1x COM, 4x USB 2.0, 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, 2x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.0a, DP 1.2a, dual GbE jacks, headphone jack, and mic jack.
