Some dreams take decades to come true. India’s U20 men’s football team have finally ended a 20-year absence from continental football, sealing qualification for the AFC U20 Asian Cup China 2027 with a commanding 3-0 win over Bangladesh in Tashkent.

## How the Blue Colts Sealed It

Danny Meitei Laishram opened the scoring in the 25th minute with a composed finish after excellent pressing forced a Bangladesh turnover, before Vishal Yadav doubled the lead with an acrobatic strike on the hour mark. Substitute Md Arbash sealed the contest with a powerful left-footed drive in the 79th minute, sending India into a nervy wait for the later Uzbekistan vs Syria fixture to confirm their fate.
