India playing against Pakistan in any tournament has always levelled up the excitement among the fans. The former has defeated the latter 8 times out of 14. Last time when both the teams clashed, Pakistan won the match by 10 wickets in the T20 World Cup 2021.

Let’s have a look at the preview for tomorrow’s much-anticipated game.

Asia Cup 2022: India vs Pakistan match preview

The BCCI has announced the squad for the tournament recently. Jasprit Bumrah couldn’t be a part of the tournament due to an injury. Virat Kholi will be joining the squad after a very long time and all the eyes are laid on him. It’s expected that he’ll regain his form in the tournament. Rohit Sharma will be leading the team and will try to win the title for the ninth time. If India wins this time, it will be a hat-trick of titles.

The Pakistan cricket board (PCB) has also announced their squad. Their star bowler Shaheen Afridi won’t be playing due to a knee injury and it’s a disadvantage for the team to a huge level. Shaheen Afridi had a terrific performance last year against India that helped Pakistan win. Mohammad Wasim is also suffering from a back injury but he has taken part in three of the training sessions of the team. The Pakistani fans will want Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to score maximum runs. The squad is a lot improved and can prove to be a major threat to India.
